so- what do the ELECTED council do once they have finished off selling the family silver. Is it not obvious that all these schools are on prime building land?
More houses, More people, means more pupils with nowhere to go and more cars with no roads to put them on.
I heard this morning that this decision is based on proving to the government a long term initiative for improving the schooling for the island - this hardly seems a long term plan - what happens next year - close the high schools?????
it really does seem that the totally un-educated are being placed in charge of our education issues - and WE, the electorate are just supposed to sit back and listen to absolute amatures make and pass resolutions that affect ALL our lives. I THINK IT IS DEFINATELY TIME FOR A CHANGE AND A VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE TO BE SLAPPED ON THIS OVERPAID AND OUT OF CONTROL COUNCIL.

Absolutely brilliant and I personally couldn’t agree more with you Pete. Save Our Schools and help to Save The Isle of Wight!
